The Jewish Food Event of the Year
The fourth Gefiltefest Jewish Food Festival will be held on Sunday May 19th 2013 at London's Ivy House, home of the London Jewish Cultural Centre (LJCC). You can book cheaper 'early-bird' tickets from the LJCC's website until 1st May.
It's a full-day event running from 9.30am to 6pm. The event is similar to a Limmud festival: Once you arrive, there are 6 or 7 sessions running simultaneously. You can pick the one that interests you the most and head to that room - or just amble around the garden where we will have plenty of stalls (see details below), and Shir Music will be performing.
For every hour of the day there will be: two live cookery demonstrations; one hands-on cookery workshop; one social action session; one text learning session; one arts & culture session, and from midday, a kids' session. The kids' sessions are suitable for ages 7+.
The hardest decision you have to make is which of the sessions you want to pick!
