Getting the best out of the tech: Harnessing online tools to get your content out

Engaging with audiences via social media is a vital tool for communicating news and spreading the word about campaigns.. However in small charities the role of ‘Social Media Manager’ often falls to the same person that is responsible for the day to day running of the charity and maintaining any on-line presence can be difficult to manage.

This half-day practical workshop will focus on ensuring that you get the most out the technology available to you. On your own lap tops we will work though practical examples for leveraging various online tools. You will be given help with the things that that you struggle with when you posting your on-line content, advice on linking to your website or e-mails and more on your day to day marketing and communication needs.

By the end of this session you will:

  • Feel comfortable linking messages on social media and email back to your website
  • Know how to find out what you target audience are chatting about.
  • Have any questions, queries or digital marketing problems answered through demonstration
