This is an introductory level interactive half-day workshop aimed at anyone with HR responsibilities but who are not HR specialists.
This course will help you explore the basics – including policies, procedures, contracts and handling leave – so you can feel confident handling HR issues in your organisation.
- The fundamentals of legal framework around HR
- Best practice – which policies and procedures to have in place
- Record keeping
- Undertaking HR processes correctly
The workshop will be delivered by Melanie Pearl of MP Consulting. Melanie has a wealth of experience in the HR sector as well as a career coach. She has worked at senior level in the private and non-for-profit sectors and was HR Director at the United Synogogue for 12 years.
This is the second of two half-day HR workshops aimed at Managers with HR responsibilities but no HR experience.
