Pears Action Learning Set

Regular structured peer learning session for Grantees

Action learning is a structured way of learning with peers, sharing best practice and developing a supportive network. It is a structured process whereby a small group meets on a regular basis to present questions and issues on which they would like the group’s input. Set members present a question or issue to the other group members who ask questions, help them reflect and support them to identify their own next steps for action. It is a safe space to experience support and challenge from peers, network and share best practice, and think creatively about how to bring about change and gain insight into how others achieve different solutions.

Pears Foundation offers one facilitated Action Learning Set per year, by invitation only, for directors and senior managers, facilitated by an external facilitator from Action Learning Associates.

The commitment for joining an Action Learning Set is six half-day workshops over six to seven months.
