Mitzvah Day asks people for their time, not their money. Once a year Mitzvah Day partners with synagogues, schools, youth movements, communities and Jewish societies to galvanise the community into cross communal, national, inter-generational and inter – faith social action. Mitzvah Day was founded in 2005 in the UK with founding partner, the JCC for London based on Big Sunday in Los Angeles and is now an independent charity.
