The Jewish Volunteer Network actively promotes volunteering in the Jewish community. JVN connects volunteers with the right volunteering opportunities to fit their interests and skills through a website and telephone advice line.

Net Buddy

An independent learning disabilities resource website with interactive forums for families, carers, professionals, volunteers, events listings, signposting & information service. These facilities are primarily for use within the UK Jewish community. NetBuddy also incorporates TopTips: The Special Needs Handbook, a unique downloadable practical problem solving self help guide.

Mitzvah Day

Mitzvah Day asks people for their time, not their money. Once a year Mitzvah Day partners with synagogues, schools, youth movements, communities and Jewish societies to galvanise the community into cross communal, national, inter-generational and inter – faith social action. Mitzvah Day was founded in 2005 in the UK with founding partner, the JCC for London based on Big Sunday in Los Angeles and is now an independent charity.

René Cassin

René Cassin uses the experience of the Jewish people to promote universal human rights through international advocacy. They also work to raise awareness of human rights within the Jewish community through education and training.

Tzedek

Tzedek engages with and educates the Jewish community on issues of global poverty, its causes and effects, and the Jewish obligation to respond. Tzedek works regardless of race or religion with some of the poorest communities in the world providing direct support to help local people so they can help themselves.
